17-year-old arrested, caught wearing stolen Lululemon merchandise at downtown Detroit bus terminal

DETROIT (WWJ) Michigan State Police arrested a teen girl caught stealing from a Lululemon in downtown Detroit.

In a statement on X; Michigan State Police Second District said, on Friday (10/18) at 4:50 p.m., troopers received a call of retail fraud at the Lululemon on Woodward at Clifford Street.

The caller reported the teen suspect ran away and went to the Rosa Parks bus terminal at Cass and Times Square, less than a quarter mile away from the store; according to State Police.

When troopers found the 17-year-old at the bus terminal, she was wearing the stolen items; State Police said.

She was taken into custody on scene, processed at State Police Second District headquarters and released to her mother. A prosecutor is reviewing charges.
