EASTPOINTE (WWJ) -- An early morning police chase in Macomb County involved two young teens.
Warren Police Commissioner Bill Dwyer tells WWJ that the incident began when the 14-year old boys took their mom's car in Eastpointe.
They then led police on a high-speed chase that went through the streets of Warren and eventually culminated in a crash on Kelly Road just south of 8 Mile in northeast Detroit.
One teen was taken to St. John's hospital with minor injuries, while the other was taken to the police station and then turned over to his parents.
Charges against the the two teenagers are pending.
