(WWJ) A 19-year-old is in custody for a shooting in South Lyon that left a teen dead and his father in critical condition.
Dylan Stamper, 17, is dead and his father, 43, is hospitalized after the incident Wednesday night, at the family's home on Liberty Street, in the area of 10 Mile Rd. and Pontiac Trail in South Lyon.
According to police, there was a dispute inside the home, someone pulled a gun, shots were fired, and the teen was killed.
The father was also struck multiple times and was last reported in critical condition, but stable condition.
Details are still being sorted out, but sources tell WWJ Newsradio 950 that the incident may have been drug-related. Officials have not confirmed that detail.
The suspect is being housed at the Oakland County Jail. His/her name has not yet been released.
