
DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are investigating what lead to a stabbing incident that killed one teenager on Detroit's west side on Tuesday evening.
According to the Detroit Police Department, the stabbing occurred at the intersection of Burgess Avenue and Thatcher Street during an "altercation."
Police said a 14-year-old male victim was rushed to a local hospital by paramedics where he later died of his injuries.
At this time, investigators has not identified the suspect who remains at large. The circumstances surrounding the incident remains unclear and no motive has been released.
No other information was made public as the investigation continues.
