TROY (WWJ) - Police say they're continuing to search for three suspects wanted for stealing roughly a dozen high-end watches from an Oakland Mall jewelry kiosk in the early evening hours last week.
Troy police said the incident occurred last Friday, Dec. 30 just before 6 p.m. at the OJB Jewelry counter in the mall off 14 Mile road.
The business told police that a man came up to the kiosk counter where the Rolex watches were and began smashing the case with a hammer.
When the case shattered, the man was joined by two other male suspects and together they stole 12 to 14 watches before running off.
No other details were released by police, but anyone with any information related to this crime has been asked to contact the Troy Police Department at 248-524-3477.
The incident comes almost two months after five suspects allegedly committed a smash-and-grab at Elias Diamonds at the Oakland Mall.
