CLAY TOWNSHIP (WWJ) Thousands turned out for the 20th Annual Raft Off on Lake St. Clair.
It's held on the second Saturday of August on Muscamoot Bay in Clay Township, at the Canadian border.

According to JobbieCrew.com (their website); 60,000-100,000+ people attend the Raft-Off, dubbed the world's largest.
Boaters tie their boats together— to form "The Gauntlet."
The Gauntlet can be up to four miles long, the website said.
A tipster told WWJ more than 1,000 boats came out and tied together for the 2024 Raft-Off.
