
DETROIT (WWJ) — Three people are recovering after a crash involving an ambulance in Southwest Detroit Tuesday morning.
Officials with the Detroit Fire Department tell WWJ it happened around 10 a.m. in the area of Michigan Avenue and Lonyo Street.
While some details surrounding the crash remain unclear, officials say a woman driving a car was taken to the hospital. She was listed in stable condition Tuesday afternoon.
Two medics inside the EMS rig were treated for minor injuries and released from the hospital.
It was not immediately clear whether the ambulance was on a run or carrying any patients at the time of the crash.
It was not clear who was at-fault for the crash.
No other details have been released.
