DEARBORN (WWJ) Michigan State Police (MSP) are investigating a crash on I-94 in Dearborn that killed three people during severe storms.
MSP said the crash happened on Friday, July 3, at 11:44 p.m. on the eastbound side of the freeway near Michigan Avenue.
Authorities said the car rear-ended a semi-truck that had stopped because of flooding on the freeway.
First responders pronounced all three passengers in the car dead at the scene. Police took the driver of the car into custody.

According to MSP, they have identified all three victims, but have not released their names or ages.
It’s not clear if alcohol or drugs were factors.
