WARREN (WWJ) — Three suspects are being questioned by authorities in connection to a shooting that left one teen injured as he walked home from school on Tuesday afternoon in Macomb County.
Warren Police Commissioner Bill Dwyer told WWJ's Sandra McNeill that there was a dispute between the victim and the alleged shooter while walking home from a Lincoln High School in Warren when the teen was shot in the leg.
Police immediately responded to the scene located near Packard and Campbell, establishing a perimeter around where they believe the alleged shooter lived and blocked off roads.
Dwyer labeled the suspected teen as dangerous.
"That's why we are taking the precautions as far as setting up the perimeter and making sure that we go house to house and make sure that everyone is safe and stays calm," Dwyer said.
K9 units were on scene assisting; the three suspects were found in the residence.
No further information has been released; the investigation remain active.
