
ORION TWP. (WWJ) — A suspect who allegedly robbed an Oakland County party store last month is now in police custody.
The robbery happened around 2:15 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25 at the Indianwood Junction Party Store in Orion Township, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.
While authorities have not said what the suspect allegedly stole, the sheriff’s office on Monday shared surveillance images of the suspect and their vehicle.
The suspect’s pickup appeared to be a dark-colored Chevy Silverado Z71 pickup truck with a foldable tonneau cover.
Seen in photos released by the OCSO: the suspect was wearing a tan and white Nike Tech Jacket and wearing Jordan Air 1 Retro High OG – (Green-Glo) shoes.
Late Monday night, the sheriff's office sent an update stating that the suspect was located and arrested "thanks to a tip."
The person's name was not immediately released, with expected charges pending.
