DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are continuing their search for a suspect on a bicycle who allegedly open fired on a 51-year-old man before fleeing the scene last summer.
On June 26th, 2022, police say a 51-year-old man was struck by gunfire around 1:25 a.m. while on Kendell and 14th Street in Detroit.
The gunman was riding a bicycle when they fired off a weapon. The unknown suspect then fled the scene on the bike.
The 51-year-old victim was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for his injuries and released.
Almost a year and a half later, Detroit police -- in collaboration with Crime Stoppers -- are offering a $500 reward for any tips that lead to an arrest in the case.

Those who submit a tip must include case # 2206260027.
Tipsters are only eligible for a reward if:
• They provide this information first to Detroit Rewards TV and not Law Enforcement.
• Their tip must move the case forward
