
DETROIT (WWJ) -- The family of a 34-year-old man who was fatally stabbed while waiting for a bus in Detroit is hoping a tip from the public could help police find his killer.
Brandon Leonard was murdered on Friday, Aug. 6, 2021, just before midnight, according to Crime Stoppers of Michigan.

Investigators said Leonard was at the bus stop on Gratiot Ave. at 8 Mile Rd., near the Dunkin Donuts and the city's border with Eastpointe, when he was attacked.
To date, there have been no arrests in the case, and no suspects have been named or described.
As the investigation continues, Crime Stoppers put out a call for tips stating: "Brandon's family pleads with any witnesses to come forward with information to help identify the suspect."
There is a cash reward of up to $2,500 available for the person whose tip leads to an arrest in this case. Crime Stoppers does not wait for a conviction, and all rewards are paid anonymously.
