NOVI (WWJ) – Drivers in the Novi area are dealing with a traffic headache Sunday afternoon.
A stalled train is blocking 10 Mile Road between Novi and Meadowbrook Roads, Novi police confirmed to WWJ.
The train had been stopped on the tracks for more than a half hour, as of 4:20 p.m., resulting in long backups in both directions on 10 Mile.
Officials weren’t sure what caused the train to stop. It was not clear what type of train it was or whether any passengers were on board.
There was no estimation on how long the delay may last.
