SOUTHGATE (WWJ) — Metro Detroit drivers are dealing with a slippery mess on I-75 Downriver Thursday afternoon.
Michigan State Police officials say a truck lost “a large amount of hydraulic fluid” along northbound I-75 near Northline Road in Southgate.
The incident led to the closure of the right two lanes, leaving traffic backed up about a mile to Eureka Road.
“Slow down and be careful,” MSP officials said in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
Officials did not say what caused the truck to lose the fluid. It was not clear if any other vehicles were involved.
