MONROE (WWJ) -- Two metro Detroit men are in custody after a shooting at a Monroe County beach, followed by a chase with police.
Detectives say that the 24-year-old from Warren and 22-year-old from Taylor got into an altercation with a 21-year-old man from Ohio at Milan Beach on Sunday.
One of the men then pulled out a gun and fire several shots, leaving the victim in critical condition.
The two suspects fled the scene in a black SUV, and were captured after a lengthy chase with police that began around 7:30 p.m.
The incident is under investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff's Department.
