Both men are Pontiac residents, and both are being sought in connection with separate murders in Pontiac.

According to the sheriff's office, Brox is charged with felony murder in the Nov. 14 shooting death of 22-year-old Maleik Gilmore of Pontiac.

Santos is
charged with first-degree murder in the Halloweeen night double shooting that killed 39-year-old Frederick Lamar Betty, and wounded another man.

Sheriff Michael Bouchard said both men should be "considered armed and extremely dangerous."

“We’re asking for the public’s help in finding these two fugitives,” Sheriff Michael Bouchard said, in a statement. “We are actively searching for these two men and encourage anyone with information about their whereabouts to call Crime Stoppers immediately at 1-800-SPEAK-UP (800-773-2587) or 911."

All those who call Crime Stoppers will remain anonymous.

The sheriff's office said Gilmore was selling drugs to Brox and two other suspects, 16-year-old Eric Burrell Jr., and 17-year-old Torrion Wilson, when Gilmore was shot and killed as the the trio attempted to rob him. Burrell and Wilson were later arrested and charged in the homicide. Burrell and Brox are brothers. Their mother, Jennifer Marie Wilson, 39, is charged with being an accessory after the fact for trying to hide the trio from arrest.

Santos is accused in the Oct. 31 shooting of two men as they walked out of Lyons Food Market at 640 Auburn in Pontiac. Betty was found on the pavement in front of the store with a gunshot wound to his back, and died in the hospital. The second man, whose name was not released, recovered from his injuries.
