IMLAY CITY (WWJ) Michigan State Police have arrested two Metro Detroit men accused of selling narcotics throughout the Thumb region.
In a statement on X; State Police Third District said their Thumb Narcotics Unit took Steven Jackson, 31 of St. Clair Shores, and Mantwan Gladney, 28 of Detroit, into custody. This came after a narcotics investigation involving the sale of methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl.
According to State Police, troopers arrested both men “without incident” during a traffic stop in Imlay City on Thursday (8/8).
Investigators also executed a search warrant at a home in Macomb County—and seized additional narcotics and a pistol, State Police said.
They did not give any further information on the location of the home or the date of the search.
Gladney and Jackson are lodged at the Lapeer County Jail and have been arraigned on felony drug charges.
The State Police Emergency Support Team, St. Clair County Drug Task Force, County of Macomb Enforcement Team (COMET), Imlay City Police, and State Police K9 units all assisted in the investigation.
