(WWJ) Two young adults are recovering from injuries sustained in a head-on car crash in Canton.
Canton Police said a Monroe resident, 19, in a 2013 Mercury collided with a 2012 GMC driven by an Ypsilanti resident, 29.
The crash happened on Geddes Road near Beck around 7:45 a.m. Monday.
The 19-year-old is in serious but stable condition. The 29-year-old was taken to the hospital for "precautionary measures,'" police said.
The intersection was closed down but has since reopened.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
