The winning lottery ticket for the Mega Millions was sold at the Kroger in Novi on Grand River at Beck Road, according to the Michigan Lottery website. The lucky numbers are: 4, 26, 42, 50, 60, and 24.

The identity of the person who won remains unknown until he or she contacts the Lottery's Public Relations Division. The winner can choose longterm payouts over nearly 30 years or a $739 million lump sum payout, before taxes.

“Someone in Michigan woke up to life-changing news (Saturday) morning, and Kroger Michigan congratulates the newest Michigan multimillionaire,” Rachel Hurst, a regional spokeswoman for the grocery chain, told the Associated Press.

The Mega Millions top prize had been growing since September 15, after a winning ticket was sold in Wisconsin.

The next Mega Millions jackpot is expected to be about $20 million.

The odds of winning a Mega Millions jackpot are one in 302.5 million.

This is the third largest lottery jackpot in history. The world record for a lottery jackpot was 1.586 billion dollars.
