COMMERCE TWP. (WWJ) — Someone is $1 million richer after buying a Powerball ticket from a Metro Detroit restaurant.

While nobody won Saturday night’s jackpot, four people matched all five white ball numbers — two in California, one in Georgia and one right here in Michigan.

A winning $1 million ticket was sold at Andale Mexican Grill and Cantina in Commerce Township, according to the Michigan Lottery website.

It’s the state’s first $1 million Powerball winner since an $842 million jackpot winner was sold at Food Castle of Grand Blanc on New Year’s Day. Michigan Lottery officials say that ticket has gone unclaimed.

The estimated jackpot for Monday’s Powerball drawing has not climbed to $460 million. The Mega Millions jackpot, meanwhile, has reached an estimated $650 million for Tuesday’s drawing.
