(WWJ) Michigan State Police say they've taken $25,000 worth of drugs off the streets of Metro Detroit, with raids on Thursday.

The Metro Narcotics Enforcement Team executed search warrants in Canton, Van Buren Township and Ypsilanti on March 13. Detectives seized over 800 grams of cocaine along with crack cocaine, heroin, three handguns, a press used to shape drugs and $3,800 in cash.

The suspect is on federal probation for drug crimes.  No charges have been filed at this time.

Along with the Michigan State Metro South and Brighton Posts, officers from LAWNET, the Van Buren Police Department, Border Patrol, and Downriver SWAT helped with the searches.
