CALEDONIA (WWJ) – Two people were left hospitalized Monday morning after a crash involving a mail delivery vehicle and a cement truck in West Michigan.
It happened around 8:30 a.m. in Caledonia, about 20 miles south of Grand Rapids, according to a report from Fox 17.
Officials with the Kent County Sheriff's Office said the United States Postal Service truck was driving on Copper Heights Court when it made a U-turn in front of the cement truck, according to the report.
The trucks collided, causing the cement truck to roll over.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital and the USPS carrier was seriously injured, according to Fox 17.
The truck driver received minor injuries. Their conditions Monday night were not clear.
No other details about the crash were released.
