WANTED: Woman caught on camera smashing window with a crowbar at Martin Luther King Apartments in Detroit [VIDEO]

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Can anyone help police identify this woman wanted for breaking a window?

According to officials with the the Detroit Police Department's 7th Precinct, the incident happened at around 2 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, at the Martin Luther King Apartments on Chene St., near Larned on the city's east side.

As seen on "blink" camera video released by the DPD on Wednesday, the female suspect runs toward the camera armed with a crowbar.

She swings the crowbar, breaking the window, and then drops the object, throws up her hands and rushes at the camera.

The woman was wearing a black jacket, black pants, black boors and carrying small crossbody handbag.

Police said the suspect is wanted on a charge of Malicious Destruction of Property. No further details, including a passible motive, were released by the DPD.
