WANTED: Man who set house on fire, killing several dogs [PHOTO+VIDEO]

(WWJ) Police are on the hunt for an arsonist who destroyed a Detroit home, and killed several dogs.

The suspect was caught on camera at the scene of the crime on Saturday, September 29, in the 14400 block Eastburn, on the city's east side.

Police said the man used hammer to break into a home through a side window. Once inside, it's alleged he set the house on fire then left.

As a result of the fire, police said the home was destroyed and several dogs that were inside died.

No one was home at the time of the incident, and no people were hurt.

Police released several photos of the suspect, described as a bald, Black male with a medium build, medium brown complexion. He was last seen wearing a black vest with a white lining, red hooded sweat shirt, black pants and black shoes.

Police said he is a "known suspect," but they have not released his name.
