WANTED: Man who approached victim at Detroit gas station, stole Cartier glasses at gunpoint
DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police are asking for tips as investigators search for a man wanted for an armed robbery at gas station on Detroit's west side.
At around 2:10 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, police said the suspect made a purchase at the business, in the 17000 block of W. McNichols, before leaving the store.
When he walked outside, police said the suspect then approached the victim, pulled out a handgun, and then stole the victim's white-framed Cartier glasses.


The suspect fled the scene in a black Chevy sedan, heading northbound on the Southfield Freeway (M-39) Service Drive.
The suspect is described as a young man with a slim build, possibly in his 20s. He is around 5'11" tall, and was wearing a black hoodie, black pants with a white stripe, and white shoes.

Police released photos and video of the suspect and his vehicle on Friday, asking that anyone who recognizes him to give them a call.
