WANTED: Suspect caught on camera walking away with stolen lawnmower in Detroit [VIDEO]
DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police are asking for tips from the community as they search for a man who allegedly stole a lawnmower in Detroit.
The Detroit Police Department's Second Precinct released Ring doorbell camera footage of the suspect, who is wanted on a charge of larceny in connection with the crime at around 1:40 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5.
In the short video clip, the suspect is seen casually pushing the lawnmower down the driveway and away from the home where he allegedly stole it, in the 14500 block of Whitcomb on the city's west side.
Police said the suspect continued walking away on foot, north on Whitcomb going towards Eaton St.

In the video, the suspect is also seen carrying a bag; although it's unclear if he stole anything else, or just the mower.
