
WARREN, Mich. (WWJ) - A 15-year-old boy was struck by a car in an early Tuesday morning crash, Warren police have reported.

According to WDIV, the teenager was crossing the street the morning of Feb. 1 -- at Van Dyke and 9 Mile Roads in Warren -- when a Dodge Journey hit him. Police said the driver did stop at the scene of the accident.
The boy is reported to be in critical condition.
At this time, police said drugs and alcohol did not contribute to the crash and the investigation is ongoing.
No further details have been released.
