WARREN (WWJ) -- Warren police are looking for a missing teenager who lives with mental health issues.
Ajanae Woodard, 15, left home along Toepfer Street in late February after what police described as "a disagreement with family members."
She did not take her cell phone, but has had contact with several family members since that time, according to investigators.
Police said Woodard is being treated for Schizophrenia, police said, and does not have her medication with her.
She is described as a Black female, 5'8'' tall and weighing 230 lbs.
Investigators believe she could be in Detroit, Highland Park, Hamtramck, or surrounding areas.
"Warren Investigators are actively pursuing all available leads including a thorough examination of her social media presence. Investigators are confident that Woodard was last active on social media within the past week, which provides a potential avenue for further information and leads," police said in a news release Wednesday. "Investigators are working with Woodard’s family and collaborating with our law enforcement partners to coordinate efforts and share any pertinent information."
