Suspect at large after shooting at Wayne apartment complex leaves 2 sisters dead

WAYNE (WWJ) -- Police in the city of Wayne are investigating a double-murder that left two sisters dead.

According to the Wayne Police Facebook page, authorities were called to an apartment on Niagara Street near Michigan Avenue and Merriman Road just after 9 p.m. on Wednesday on the report of two gunshot victims.

The victims were identified as sisters, 30-year-old Dominique Parchmon and 18-year-old Shyanna Hall. Both had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Dominique was pronounced dead at the scene, and Shyanna later succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital.
  
The suspect has been identified as 32-year-old Christopher Greer, a longtime boyfriend of Dominique Parchmon.

According to police, the incident began with an argument that escalated to gunfire. Greer is said to have then fled the scene armed with a 9mm handgun and driving Parchmon’s black Dodge Charger.

The vehicle was later discovered abandoned in Ypsilanti Township near Michigan Avenue and Hewitt Road.

Greer is described at 5’9” and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark color, thick winter coat, a black winter hat and jeans.

Detectives from the Wayne Police Department, Michigan State Police
Special Investigations Unit and the US Marshals Service Detroit Fugitive Apprehension Team are continuing to investigate the situation.

The US Marshals Service is offering a reward for information that will directly lead to the arrest of Christopher Greer.
