DETROIT (WWJ) -- Wayne State University is offering students the chance to win free tuition, and other prizes with a new vaccine incentive program.
The Warrior Summer Vaccine Incentive, which was announced this week, allows students and faculty to enter into a drawing by uploading a photo of their COVID-19 vaccine card now through August 29.
Prizes will then be awarded weekly throughout August, with a grand prize of free tuition for students and a year of free parking for faculty and staff to be awarded on August 30.
“As we prepare for the fall semester and our return to campus, vaccines will help us prevent the spread of COVID-19 while taking part in the in-person classes and events that are so vital to the Wayne State experience,” WSU said in a statement. “Get vaccinated, either at the Campus Health Center or at your most convenient location.”
Those who have already received their vaccine are also eligible to participate; you may enter once you’ve you had your first dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or following your single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
Students who participated in this spring’s vaccine incentive must resubmit their proof of vaccination. You only need to submit your information once to be eligible.
