WESTLAND (WWJ) — Westland police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing man who hasn’t been seen in two weeks and may be in need of medical assistance.
Michael Allan Plummer, a resident of Westland who police believe is currently homeless, was last seen on July 18 in the area of Venoy and Annapolis Roads.
Friends of the 45-year-old Plummer told police he may frequent the wooded area near Venoy and Michigan Avenue.
Plummer is described as 6-feet-tall, 180 lbs., with shoulder-length black and gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and gray shorts.
Police officials say Plummer has health conditions that require him to receive frequent medical care. As authorities do not know if he has received this medical care, he is considered to be an “endangered missing person.”
Officials are asking anyone who sees Plummer or knows where he is to call the Westland Police Department at 734-722-9600.
