
(WWJ) – There are tons of hot button issues, from politics to religion. But among the most divisive topics for Michiganders – what to do with the deer population.
Michigan has one of the largest deer populations in the country, which is great if you’re a deer hunter or love seeing them in your backyard. But it’s not great if you love your garden or worry about car vs. deer crashes, which Michigan saw 52,000 of last year – nearly 20% of all crashes in 2021.
