When and where you can watch fireworks shows across Metro Detroit this Fourth of July weekend

(WWJ) – The Fourth of July holiday weekend is almost upon us and Metro Detroit will be celebrating with parades, festivals, and of course, fireworks.

Here’s a list of some of the places you can catch fireworks displays across the area throughout the week. *Note: All fireworks shows are weather permitting and subject to change – check for local details before going.

Salute to America at The Henry Ford – Tuesday, July 2-Friday, July 5, 5-10 p.m.

The annual event at Greenfield Village in Dearborn will feature music, food and each night will end with a full Detroit Symphony Orchestra performance during the fireworks.

Fireworks at four different Metroparks

• Friday, June 28: Stony Creek Metropark in Shelby Twp. – A concert featuring an Eagles tribute band begins at 7 p.m., followed by fireworks at 10:05 p.m.
• Monday, July 1: Willow Metropark in New Boston – Concert featuring American Ages Band at 6 p.m., followed by Fireworks at dusk.
• Tuesday, July 2: Kensington Metropark in Milford – Fireworks at dusk.
• Wednesday, July 3: Lake Erie Metropark in Brownstown – Concert at 6 p.m., Fireworks at 10 p.m.

Friday, June 28
Mount Clemens: Fireworks at Clinton River Park, beginning at dusk
St. Clair Shores: Fireworks Extravaganza begins at 8, fireworks at dusk

Saturday, June 29
• Independence Fest in Clarkston: Festival begins at 11 a.m., fireworks at 10 p.m. MORE DETAILS

• White Lake Township: Boat parade (Michigan/Detroit sports themed) starts at 2 p.m., fireworks at dusk. MORE DETAILS

Sunday, June 30
• Pontiac: M1 Concourse Fireworks party begins at 6 p.m. with food trucks and music, followed by fireworks
