
(WWJ) – Friday is Earth Day – a day when an emphasis is really placed on celebrating and protecting our environment.
But we all know, what is done outside of Earth Day is equally, if not more important. Keeping Southeast Michigan clean is a daily effort for many, and an effort that is costing taxpayers millions of dollars, for a multitude of reasons. So, why is there still so much garbage around Metro Detroit?
What exactly is being done to keep the region as clean as can be, and why is it important? WWJ’s Zach Clark takes a look in a new edition of The Daily J.
