FERNDALE (WWJ) – Monday marked the first official day of spring, and like it or not, that also means we're headed into the thick of road construction season here in Metro Detroit.

Phase 2 of the Woodward Moves construction project in Ferndale began on Monday. When all is said and done, a portion of the road between 8 Mile and 10 Mile Roads will be slimmed down by a lane in each direction, among other improvements.
