(WWJ) – This week Gov. Gretchen Whitmer proposed a plan that would deliver so-called "inflation relief checks" to Michiganders, giving all tax filers in the state $180 to combat the rising cost of daily life.
On a new Daily J, WWJ's Zach Clark tries to figure out if these checks are the answer – or if there's a better way to deliver help – and hears from co-workers on what the checks would mean for them.
