WINDSOR, CANADA (WWJ) -- A counter protest is being planned in Windsor for this weekend as the trucker convoy continues to block traffic to and from the Ambassador Bridge.
The organizer of the counter protest, Joel Holosko, told AM800's The Dan MacDonald Show that he wants the protesters to know they don't have everyone's support.
The protests against COVID-19 restrictions, mandates and vaccines have been ongoing since Monday.
Holosko stated that the current protest is not helping him and he wishes they would just go home.
"I want to show the people they don't stand for all of Canada," he said. "They think they do, they're trying to say they're doing it for your freedoms, for my freedoms, for everyone's freedoms. They're not, they're not doing this for anything, in my opinion."

Holosko added that he wants the counter protest to be loud in order to let the "clowns" know that he and others have had enough and would like the convoy to end.
But he said he wants it to be a peaceful protest.
The counter protest is tentatively planned for 12 p.m. Saturday -- the details are on Facebook.
