Windsor Police search for man accused of sexually assaulting child, believed to be in Michigan

Windsor Police

WINDSOR (WWJ) Windsor Police are searching for a man, believed to be in Michigan, charged with sexually assaulting a child.

Police said Daymien Kennedy, 30, of Windsor was released on bail in December 2025 on multiple charges including sexual assault, sexual inference, assault with a weapon, publishing an intimate image without consent, mischief and uttering threats.

The charges stem from four separate incidents, including the alleged sexual assault of a six-year-old girl; an assault of a woman using a hot torch lighter; and an assault in which prosecutors say he threatened a woman and cut her with a knife.

He's also charged with "publishing intimate images" of a woman online without "her knowledge or consent," police said.

Windsor bail compliance officers conducted a routine compliance check in April (2026) and determined Kennedy had fled to Michigan, breaching the terms of his release. They still have not located him.

He's wanted for failing to comply with a release order.

If you have any information on Kennedy's whereabouts, please contact Windsor Police Service Offender Management Unit at (519) 255-6700.
