SHELBY TWP. (WWJ) Check your pockets! A winning Lucky for Life lottery ticket was purchased at a gas station in Shelby Township, but the winner has yet to come forward.
In a press release, the Michigan Lottery said the buyer is looking forward to "a lifetime of cash after winning $25,000 a year for life" thanks to buying the golden ticket.
The person bought the ticket at the Sunoco gas station on Ryan near Utica.
The ticket matched all five white balls that were drawn Saturday night: 13-26-34-37-48.
The winner has the choice of receiving annual payments of $25,000 for life or a minimum of 20 years, whichever is greater, or they can collect a lump sum of $390,000.
To win the top prize of $1,000 per day for life, players must match all five numbers ranging from 1 to 48 plus one lucky ball ranging from 1 to 18. Tickets cost $2. In this case, the winner matched all five numbers but not the lucky ball.
This is the fifth time a Michigan Lottery player has won Lucky for Life this year.
If you have the winning ticket, contact the Michigan Lottery Player Relations Division at 844-887-6836. The prize will be claimed at the Michigan Lottery headquarters in Lansing.
