Southgate police say a woman who had been reported missing late last week was found dead behind an apartment building.
WWJ's Charlie Langton says the 31-year old woman found behind the La Colonnade Apartments on Northline Road near Dix-Toledo had been shot. Her domestic partner has reportedly been arrested.
The man described as a person of interest is at the Southgate police station now.
The investigation is ongoing.
Initially, reports indicated a body was discovered outside of La Colonnade Apartments on Northline Road near Dix Toledo. Officers are on the scene but at this point, other details are unknown, including whether she had been in the field the entire time and how police found her.
