HIGHLAND PARK (WWJ) - Detectives are working to figure out the circumstances surrounding the homicide of a 34-year-old woman who was found in a Highland Park hotel early Friday morning.
According to Michigan State Police, a 91 caller contacted Highland Park Police around 1:30 a.m. on June 2nd and told them that they saw a door ajar at the Woodward Inn, located at 16375 Woodward.
When the caller entered the room, they discovered a 34-year-old woman.
EMS personnel responded to the scene and rushed to assist the woman, but she was pronounced dead.
At this time, police have not released how the victim died and there is no known motive determined by homicide detectives.
The investigation is continuing.
