Authorities are investigating a fire that tore through a man's mobile home in Taylor that left death in its wake.
The blaze broke out early this morning at a home in the Wellington Estates Community, off Beech Daly and near Pennsylvania Road. FIrefighters suspect it burned so hot and so fast that the resident was unable to escape.
Nearby homes were evacuated while firefighters knocked down the flames.

After the fire was extinguished, a man's body was discovered inside. Cause and manner of death have not been revealed, nor has the potential cause of the fire.
