Woman recovering after deer vs. motorcycle crash in west Michigan

MESCOTA TOWNSHIP (WWJ) A west Michigan woman survived a motorcycle crash with a deer.

According to the Mescota County Sheriff’s Office, their deputies were dispatched to a personal injury crash on Saturday (7/13) around 8:50 p.m. at 185th and 8 Mile in Mescota Township— about 30 miles west of Mount Pleasant.

Investigation revealed the woman, 58 of Stanwood, was riding her motorcycle north on 185th when she struck a deer and crashed into the road.

Mescota County EMS rushed her to Big Rapids Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, the sheriff’s office said.

No other details were released.
