ANN ARBOR (WWJ) -- One person has been arrested in connection with the shooting of a woman in Ann Arbor.
According to the Ann Arbor Police Department, a 23-year-old woman inside an apartment on Green Road was shot in the elbow, at around 1:20 a.m. Tuesday.
She was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
No one else was injured.
Police said this appears to have been a drive-by, and that people inside a black sedan shot toward the apartment before leaving the area.
A short chase involving officers and the suspect ended when they reached a dead-end road. One person was taken into custody, while others fled, police said.
Investigators said this does appear to have been a targeted incident, although no further information was released as to the motive.
