SHELBY TWP (WWJ) The discovery of a woman's body prompted a murder investigation in Shelby Township, police said.
Shelby Township Police said officers discovered her body inside the Lakeside Park Apartments in the area of 21 Mile and Hayes on Saturday, July 19, around 6:30 a.m.
A man was arrested, authorities said.
Police said they are investigating her death as a murder.
No further details were released about the circumstances leading up to her death, or her relationship to the suspect, if any.
The woman's name and age were also not released.
