DETROIT (WWJ) -- A young boy discovered wandering on Livernois late Friday afternoon is home safe after Detroit police were able to identify him and contact his parents.
DPD responded to a call around 5 p.m. Friday after the boy was seen walking by himself in the 17500 block of Livernois.
Officers located the child and brought him to the 12th Precinct.
He told police that his name was ZyAire and that he was five years old.
Just after 8 p.m., DPD provided an update saying that the little boy had been reunited with his parents and that law enforcement was looking into the incident.
