MILAN, Mich. (WWJ) A 23-year-old man drowned at Milan Beach in Monroe County, according to the sheriff's office.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office said they received a call around 6 p.m. Saturday regarding a man who had disappeared under water at the beach on Cone Road near U.S. 23.
Sheriff's deputies and the Dive Team searched for him for about two hours, before pulling his body out of the lake.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff's office.
The victim is from Toledo. His name has not been released.
