Beloved TV icon Betty White is now a forever stamp!
On Thursday, the U.S. Postal Service celebrated the golden girl’s stamp at the Greater Los Angeles Zoo, where White was a trustee, donor, and an honorary zookeeper.
During the ceremony, zoo board member Richard Lichtenstein reflected on White’s love of animals and her mischievous wit.
“I turned to Betty and asked her, ‘Betty, before we dive into the formal agenda, is there anything you want to share with the board?’” he recalled. “She paused, looked around the room at all of the board members, put her hand on my arm, looked into my eyes, and said, ‘You were great in bed last night.’”
