A woman arguing that an order of a “dozen” comes with 50 donuts instead of 12 is the latest “Karen” to go viral after she was caught on camera yelling at Dunkin' Donuts employees.
The short video was posted to TikTok on Sunday by user @princess_natt from inside of the donut chain.
The video begins as the woman, who has her mask over her chin and is sporting a rainbow tie-dye fanny pack, stands at the counter yelling, “I need more!”
The cashier, who cannot to be seen in the video, calmly replies, “I can give you more, ma'am,” to which the "Karen" responds in an aggravated tone, “50! 5 – 0,” spelling out the number for the employee.
“That’s what a dozen is. Not 12!”
The "Karen," who was clearly confused about what a dozen means, is heard in another video posted by the same TikTok user telling the cashier “You’re not understanding English.”
After being instructed to fix her mask by another employee, the woman puts her mask properly over her face and shakes her head in frustration.
“You don’t need to be rude,” the TikTok user taking the video tells the woman. The woman proceeds to ignore the viral TikToker and yell again, “I want 50.”
Viewers have been getting a kick out of the video, which now has garnered over 200,000 views in only three days.
"A bakers dozen is 13," one commenter joked. "50 must be a Karen's dozen."
Another person commented, "Sorry I understand English but do you understand math?"
The TikTok user has not given any more updates to whether this local "Karen" has struck again.
