GALLOWAY, N.J. (1010 WINS) – A man died while trying to break into a New Jersey restaurant on Monday after he got trapped in the building's exhaust fan, officials said.
Galloway police were called to the roof of the building of Two Brothers Italian Restaurant located in a strip mall on West White Horse Pike just before 10 a.m.
The would-be burglar was already dead when responding officers arrived at the scene, authorities said.
Nearby fire departments and the township’s ambulance squad assisted Galloway police.
An investigation is ongoing as police work to determine the man’s identity.
A similar robbery happened at the business a few weeks ago, police said, and authorities are trying to determine if the two episodes are connected.
